·         Tomato paste - 1 tablespoon

·         Honey - 2 tablespoons

·         Onion powder - half teaspoon

·         Garlic powder - half teaspoon

5.      Refrigerate overnight.

6.      Drain marinade from the meat and dry in the dehydrator at 160 F (70 C) for 4-6 hours.

7.      Transfer jerky to the oven at 275 F (135 C) for at least 10 minutes to kill pathogens.

8.      Remove from oven and cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
