Black Pepper beef Jerky recipe - The ingredients & Preparation 


Ingredients you require 

You need 3 cups of amber ale

Soy sauce (2 cups)

Worcestershire sauce (1/2 cup)

Cracked black peppercorns (2 tbsp)

Coarsely ground black pepper (to sprinkle before drying the meat) (2 tbsp)

Trimmed beef top/bottom round (2 pounds, 1 1/2 inch thick)

Directions to prepare the recipe 

1. Take a large bowl where you can combine the ingredients

2. Take the ale and combine it with soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce. 

3. Add 2 tbsp of cracked black peppercorns to the mixture

4. Take the beef and cut it into think slices (1/4 inch each). It can be either with or without the grain

5. Your marinade is almost ready; now add the beef to it. Make sure to add few slices at a time. Dont overload.

6. Stir well to coat each slice with the marinade to get the same flavor evenly. 

7. Let it refrigerate for up to 7 to 8 hours. 

8. Take the oven and preheat to a temperature of 200 degrees. 

9. Take the large wire rack with sizeable rimmed baking sheets on it. 

10. Take out the beef from the marinade and pat dry it with a paper towel. 

11. Arrange the beef on the racks evenly. 

12. Now sprinkle the coarsely ground black pepper on the beef.

13. Let the beef bake for 4 to 5 hours. Check whether the jerky is firm and completely dry. 

14. Now, it is time to let it cool down completely.
